ALCINE 2015
The cinema festival of Alcalá de Henares will take place from November 6th to November 13th You can check the complete programme HERE.
Short movies generally use a simple language, provoke debate, provide with topics suitable for reflection... The shorts are a good tool to be employed at the language teaching. During the days of the festival there will be projected German, French and Irish shorts. Here you have the programme of the films we are going to watch. I hope you enjoy!!
Let's watch the trailer of "DEADLY":

IMPROVE YOUR WRITING
Writing exams can sometimes be scary. You’re sitting down, the exam has started and you have the exam paper. Now what? The first thing is not to worry! You have some tips and advice below which will help you to plan, write and review your writing task in an exam.
When you are in a writing exam you shouldn't start writing immediately. You must think about the following questions and then plan your time carefully.
How much time do you have for the writing exam?
How many writing tasks do you have to do?
When you know the answer to these two questions you should divide your time into three parts:
Part 1 – Planning time
Part 2 – Writing time
Part 3 – Reviewing time

A FAREWELL PRESENT
TO MY LAST YEAR STUDENTS:
Your time in high school is ending and I just want to say goodbye to all of you. We've “lived” together for a whole year and now it is time to say goodbye and just wait that you grow up by yourselves and with different people. Some of us have shared eight years of our lives together, others just one. But I've really enjoyed teaching you all and learning with you because “when one teaches, two learn”. And as Aristotle said, “Teaching is the highest form of understanding“. I just hope that we'll remain friends and that you bear in mind that you can always count on us.
A LITTLE AND HUMBLE PRESENT FOR MY LAST YEAR STUDENTS. WE'RE GOING TO MISS YOU A LOT!!
